During that time, the internal combustion engine (ICE) ruled triumphant. After 100 years of market dominance, it is only now, in the 2020s, that a scalable EV market is emerging.
You are forgetting one important point. The expensive new facilities to produce the electricity to charge all these batteries. North America has nowhere the amount of those that will be necessary...2025 is way to early.

We will see. My point is that 2025 will be lift-off. Sales will continue to accelerate from then.
I think that GM and Volkswagen will get significant market share. The South Korean companies will be strong.
