Why We Watch March Madness One of the few sports tournaments or playoffs I watch is the NCAA Collegiate Basketball play-offs that we call March Madness. The existential reality of “one and done”. The always appealing underdog team that beats a top seed. And, of course the “buzzer beaters”, that last-second shot that provides the margin of victory.
