The Parisians Understand

My wife and I were very concerned before we left on our two-week trip to Europe. We wondered if Europeans understood that, given recent polling, the vast majority of Americans were not in favor of the Iran War, that it was Trump’s war of choice, and that Americans were largely not in favor of it.

Well, at least some Parisians are aware of this.

Everywhere that American tourists might go – the Latin Quarter, Le Marais and the Champs-Élysèes – public park benches had this sticker on them:

So much for Americans being held responsible for Trump’s war of choice. Also the lack of support for NATO and the fit of pique over the German Prime Minister speaking honestly about the U.S. - Iran War. At least some Parisians understand that Trump does not represent the majority of Americans. Whew!
