The news can be overwhelming. The War in Ukraine, the Israel-Hamas War, the elections, the polls, the trials, inflation, and technological acceleration are all being shown to us every day. Yes, these are all big issues, and all are ongoing. That said, we must all remember that humanity - and all living things- are at risk relative to the climate crisis. That is why the columns this week will be largely about how best to face the challenge of climate collapse. We all need to be aware that this collapse is accelerating, and being distracted from it will only make matters worse.
