A Two Month Thank You!
It was in the first week of October that this Evolutionshift newsletter went live. [ I live in Florida and had planned to launch in late September, but a storm called Ian changed the timetable]
So, two months in, I am thrilled by the response. I enjoy all the research, the writing, and the developing audience of readers who have stepped up to support this effort.

To the free subscribers, I thank you for your interest. You have shown an interest in reading what I post. The roughly 3800 free subscribers have an open rate of 31-38%. I will always work to increase that number.
When doing the early research about Substack, the company suggested that across the platform there was a 5-10% conversion rate of free to paid subscribers, over time. Below is a screenshot of my dashboard that shows the number of subscribers. The current ratio of paid to free is 2.6% So this tells me that if Substack is correct, I have another 2.4-7.4% of free subscribers to become paid.
Substack has great data analytics so I know more about my audience than ever before. I can see what every subscriber does with every post I make. I know that many free subscribers open and read many of my posts. You are enjoying the newsletter a lot. Why not consider supporting me in this endeavor and getting the great benefits of being a paid or founding member subscriber?
One of those benefits is getting to read all I post, which is at least four times a week. Free subscribers only see two.
